intro weekend

We invite all our new members to the UBoulder intro weekend at the end of the summer holiday. Below you'll find some practical information about the best weekend of summer.

  • The intro weekend takes place from the 29th of August till the 1st of September. We'll leave early in the morning and return late in the evening.
  • The costs are expected to be around €100.
  • We'll spend the night on a campground. Be sure to bring your sleeping gear.
  • You can cancel up to 14 days before departure by sending an email to hkhg@uboulder.nl.

Travel insurance

Having a valid travel insurance is compulsory for any trip UBoulder organises.

Most travel insurances do not cover bouldering as a sport. If you already have travel insurance, check if it covers bouldering. If it does not, contact your insurance to see if you can upgrade your existing policy.

If you don’t have travel insurance, consider becoming a member of the Dutch Alpine Club, the NKBV and sign up for their continuous, year round policy. For short term insurance, check out the extreme sports policy of Allianz, which only takes minutes to arrange.
