Travel Insurance
What you need to know about insurance on a UBoulder bouldering trip, and who to ask about it.
To participate in the trips organized by UBoulder, you must have valid travel insurance that covers bouldering. Most travel insurance policies do not cover bouldering. If you already have travel insurance, check the terms and conditions to see if it covers bouldering or mountaineering. If it doesn't, contact your insurer to see if you can upgrade your policy.
If you don't have travel insurance, consider joining the Royal Dutch Mountaineering and Climbing Club (NKBV). Members can get continuous travel insurance for all mountain sports at a low cost.
