Confidential Contact Person
UBoulder's confidential contact person: who to turn to and how to get in touch in confidence.
Is something bothering you? We are here for you.
At UBoulder we maintain an open and friendly culture. If, however, unacceptable behavior such as bullying, threatening or sexual harassment occurs, the confidential contact persons (VCP) are there for you.
A VCP is the point of contact for anyone with questions about unacceptable behavior within the association. A VCP offers a listening ear, takes you seriously, gives advice and refers you to suitable resources. Even if you are not sure if this is a situation that falls under the responsibilities of a VCP, you can always ask for advice.
A VCP deals with confidential information. This is handled with care. If you prefer not to share details with the VCP, for example because the VCP knows the people involved, the VCP can refer you to an external confidential counselor.
Prefer to chat completely anonymously? You can do so via the anonymous chat from Fier.
More information is available about the role of a VCP and the Socially Safe Sports Environment protocol (in Dutch). Our VCPs are trained via SportUtrecht.
Please note: a confidential contact person is different from a confidential counselor. A VCP only assesses the situation and refers you to a confidential counselor if necessary.
